WHAT IS MyCONNECT(CANVAS) AND HOW DO I USE IT?

Think of MyConnect (aka CANVAS) as an online classroom with each student having a dashboard of their courses. MyConnect gives access within each course to anything from a teacher’s calendar of assignments to modules (a unit of study like Photosynthesis) and assignments (Chapter 1 photosynthesis notes).  Teachers can use announcements to alert students of upcoming events in class.

(Some teachers use MyConnect (CANVAS) for their classes and others use Google Classroom.)

How Do I Access My MyConnect (CANVAS) Account?

Log-in to your My Plan account at  MyPlan.Powayusd.com and click on the Launch Pad.  (Myplan and MyConnect (CANVAS) both use the same login credentials.)

I forgot my log-in or password.  What do I do?
Contact the PUSD IT Help Desk.
 

My student’s teacher uses Google Classroom.  Where do I find that web address?  

The link to the teacher’s Google classroom should be on the homepage of their MyConnect course. If it is not, email the teacher directly for the link.
