WHAT IS GOOGLE CLASSROOM AND 
HOW TO USE IT?

Google Classroom is an online classroom where each student has a dashboard to their courses. Google Classroom gives access within each course to anything from a teacher’s calendar of assignments to modules (a unit of study like Photosynthesis) and assignments (Chapter 1 photosynthesis notes). There are announcements as well the teachers can use to alert students of upcoming events in class and more. Students can turn in their assignments and contact their teacher with questions.


(Some teachers use MyConnect (CANVAS) for their classes and others use Google Classroom.).

How do I log-in/find my teacher's Google Classroom?

The link to the teacher's Google Classroom should be on the homepage of their MyConnect course.  If it is not, email the teacher directly for the link.  Log-in to your My Plan account at  MyPlan.Powayusd.com and click on the Launch Pad.  Access MyConnect (CANVAS) and if the teacher has a Google Classroom, you can access it from their MyConnect page.
